Nearly all tours include transportation, all clothing and a hot lunch. Advance reservations are recommended.

Snowmobile Hillclimb
This four-day event is held each year on Snow King Mountain. Everyone gathers competitors and spectators, alike, to see which man and machine has the ability to get to become the “King of Snow King”.

Snowcoach Tours
A snowcoach is a great way to see the scenery, the animals and geological formations in the winter. You can even combine a snowcoach tour with a snowmobile tour. Tours range in price depending on the outfitter and location.

  • Yellowstone Tours typically run between $250-$350/person
  • National Forest Tours typically run between $200-$250/person

Snowmobile Rentals
If you choose, you can take a self-guided snowmobile tour. Most companies that rent snowmobiles include a trailer. However, be aware that winter access to the Parks is by guided tour with an authorized permitee only. You may not at any time ride through Grand Teton National Park or Yellowstone National Park on self-guided rental snowmobiles. Rentals typically range from $100-$200 depending on the model snowmobile.
