Teton Village sits at the base of one of the world’s most popular ski resorts, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming. The village is a short distance from Jackson, making it a frequent destination for locals and visitors who want to enjoy a range of outdoor sports and activities in this quintessential alpine oasis.
Location
Teton Village is only a ten-minute drive from downtown Jackson, just north of the small town of Wilson and south of Moose and Grand Teton National Park.

Teton Village caters to outdoor enthusiasts year-round with a wide selection of elegant to simple dining options, upscale lodging, renowned spas, sport retail and maintenance facilities, instructors and area guides for hire, wedding and business meeting planners, and reliable, frequent local bus transportation. There is a gas station and two very basic grocery stores in the Village. Larger grocery stores are located in the town of Jackson.
Winter Activities
Skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts will love Teton Village, located at the base of the world renowned Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Offering over 4,000 feet of vertical drop and endless terrain, this one of a kind resort makes skiing dreams come true.
For non-skiers, visitors can enjoy scenic rides on the Bridger Gondola or JHMR Tram, sleigh ride dinners, shopping, cross-country skiing, and dog sled rides.
Summer Activities
During the warmer months, Teton Village visitors are just a few miles south of the entrance to Grand Teton National Park. Easily access trailheads at Granite Canyon, Phelps Lake, and Death Canyon. The Moose-Wilson road that connects Teton Village to the park's primary visitor center is one of the best areas for viewing wildlife.
Other summer activities in Teton Village include scenic Tram Rides to the top of Rendezvous Mountain, horseback riding along mountain side trails, tandem paragliding flights from the top of the mountain, numerous hiking and mountain biking trails, a frisbee golf course, and nearby professional golf course.
The Grand Teton Music Festival is an ongoing classical concert series that takes place at Walk Festival Hall throughout the summer.
Getting Here
Teton Village is located off Highway 390, known to locals as Moose-Wilson Road. From Grand Teton National Park, head south along the Moose-Wilson road from Moose, Wyoming. The Moose-Wilson Road is closed during the winter. From Jackson, Wyoming, head west over the Snake River and then north along Highway 390. The START Bus frequently runs between Jackson and Teton Village and costs $3 one way.
