Full Day Dogsled Tour

Each trip with Jackson Hole Iditarod Sled Dog Tours is a scenic, warm ride in a modern sled. Our musher-guides are always alert, willing and eager to point out wildlife: deer, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, bald eagles, and points of interest. The sled dogs, our valued partners, will make your trip more memorable. For guests who wish to drive a team, we offer a brief orientation session. This includes teaching the basic commands, accompanying him or her for a short run and introducing each member of the team. Then, WE ARE OFF! No amount of telling ever substitutes for experience! Our dogs are manageable, well-trained, experienced athletes, but they are also affectionate and friendly. The only sounds you hear are the shushing of the runners, perhaps the panting of the dogs and the wind in your face. This trip to the past is one you will never forget. The full day trip includes veggie or meat stew and a stop at Granite Hot Springs, where you will have time to soak in the Springs before lunch and getting back on the trail.

4 Hour Snowshoe Tour

A naturalist guide will lead you on a journey into the heart of winter on snowshoes or cross-country skis. You will follow animal tracks in the snow, examine different aspects of winter ecology and enjoy the outstanding beauty of Jackson Hole as it is blanketed in white. Tours are offered in Grand Teton National Park or in the surrounding National Forest. Tours are available for all ages and abilities.
